The HBO Combo is a 5-piece band located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The initials for the band, HBO, are a credit to the Howard Bloemker Orchestra, started by Howard in 1947. Instrumentation includes trumpet, sax/clarinet/flute, trombone, keyboard, & drums.
We specialize in music for listening and/or dancing. Music selections include big band swing, latin, dixieland, show tunes, Great American Songbook, pop, jazz, country, and patriotic. Audiences especially enjoy our programs with themes: such as Natures Wonders, 20th Century Revisited, Music of the Heart, etc.
